This one evening workshop will introduce the concepts of Practical Aesthetics, an acting technique conceived by David Mamet and William H. Macy, based on the teachings of Stanislavski and Sanford Meisner.
This work is about getting out of our heads – by putting our attention onto the other person, and observing and adapting to the changing truth of each moment. The workshop will focus on Meisner-based exercises of Repetition, the aim of which is to get present, be active, and tell the truth.
Invent Nothing. Deny Nothing. Accept Everything.
